Instagram-specific notes
Disconnecting or deleting data in UGC Pilot does not delete content that has already been published on Instagram. To delete a post that is already live, use Instagram directly.
Disconnecting Instagram stops future UGC Pilot scheduling and publishing through that connection. Users may also revoke access through their Instagram or Meta account settings.
Retention exceptions
Some limited records may be retained for security, fraud prevention, billing, legal compliance, backup recovery, or dispute resolution. Uploaded media is deleted within 30 days after account deletion unless one of these limited exceptions applies.
Meta data deletion callback
Meta can send platform-initiated Instagram data deletion requests to https://www.getugcpilot.com/api/meta/data-deletion. The endpoint validates the request and returns a confirmation code and status URL for the associated deletion request.
